About Oola Cosmetics
Oola Cosmetics is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company was founded by Karen Silver who's interest in makeup began as a singer/recording artist for Arista Records, signed by the legendary Clive Davis. Karen was exposed to many different makeup artists during her music career. Performing live shows, television work, album covers, videos and photo shoots Karen was always fascinated in the variety of makeup techniques used for all these genres.
Always exposed to a variety of talented makeup artists, Karen was constantly getting new tips and adapting them to her own personal application - eventually doing her makeup for all her personal appearances.
When Karen decided to leave her music career behind, makeup artistry seemed to be a natural transition for her. She studied Toronto School of Makeup & took the Sheridan College Camouflage Makeup Techniques Course and soon began a career in the makeup industry.
As her outstanding reputation grew, as well as her clientele, Karen encountered a variety of unique situations where she would have to come up with a solution for so many different personal needs.
Finally the decision was made to develop her own line of cosmetics for all skin types and age groups. With Oola cosmetics every individual will find a solution for their own personal needs.
